Get to know me!

Hi! My name is Keera, I am a final year English student at Bournemouth University, currently based between Bournemouth and West London. Before returning to University for my final year I spent a year working at a promotional marketing agency. I was lucky enough to work with some amazing brands such as Superdrug and Vodafone and I met some amazing industry professionals that have opened my eyes to the world of marketing! I will be looking to join the marketing industry full time after University and have even decided to base my dissertation around social media marketing.

Much like many others I have found the last year very challenging. After fully exhausting Netflix and ordering enough clothes to fill another wardrobe the novelty of lockdown for me began to ware off. I found myself with an awful lot of spare time which led me to over think and generally feel extremely bored. I decided that I would use this time to reconnect with what was once one of my favourite things to do, painting!

It’s safe to say that after around two years without so much as picking up a paint brush I struggled a bit and lots of attempts were thrown away! But I am really happy with a few pieces and will try to keep up with my art work from now on, even as we continue to return to normality.
